The private parking was onsite, TERRIFIC service. Got ironing free of charge, not bad too. The location close to everything was good. Visited The Entrance Ocean Baths, one of the tourist spots, located around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

the staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience. the bar and bistro provided great food and a welcoming atmosphere for unwinding after a busy workday.
Cons the shared facilities were inconvenient, with noisy neighbors disrupting my sleep. the lack of soundproofing led to disturbances from neighboring rooms, affecting my rest.

The bar and bistro at Five Island Hotel in Cringila were delightful, with friendly staff and clean rooms. the fan provided a comfortable breeze, and the shared bathroom was adequate. Despite the lack of air conditioning or heating, the staff's hospitality and the refurbished pub made up for it. the cleanliness was impeccable, and the noise control was excellent. the hotel's proximity to landmarks like Wollongong Art Gallery and Lake Illawarra added to the charm of our stay, contributing to a relaxing family bonding experience. An update to include ensuites in rooms would make this place perfect. the lovely staff and convenient location made our trip memorable.
